most of lebrons defensive value these days come from his team defense, not his man(which is still good anyway). 2009,2011, 2012 are the days when he was elite at both.

these days he'll be on a scrub just to try to make up for the mistakes scrubs like jr smith and kyrie irving make with his help defense. irving has really ****ed up the chemistry in this regard. lebron was the defensive anchor before he came back, now the roles on both ends have been changed and he's been spending energy in the wrong places, his resting has been different too. so he's slacked off on that end but it's been a all-defensive year without question.
