Maalik Wayns had a headache problem

Maalik Wayns admits that the head injury he suffered in the final game of the preseason had him scared.

“It lasted a couple of weeks and I didn’t know what it was,” Wayns said of the headaches that followed. “I didn’t have a concussion but I was having headaches and feeling sleepy.

“You don’t want a lingering head injury, that’s the worst,” Wayns said following the team’s practice on Thursday.” Especially when they can’t find out what’s wrong with you. You keep getting these headaches. I’m thankful that I’m not getting them anymore.”
