Guards- Magic might have the edge over Robertson, but West's edge over Drexler is way too much...
Advantage: 1962 All-Stars
Fowards- Malone and Baylor is like a tie, but Petit >>> Mullin
Advantage: 1962 All-Stars
Center- I'll give this one to Robinson
Advantage: 1992 All-Stars
Overall: 1962 All-Stars

The '92 team is perfectly put together.
Magic at PG, perfect distributor, GOAT PG.
Drexler is an extraordinary slasher, good defender and rebounder at the guard position.
Mullin is a bonafide scorer, one of the best shooters ever.
Malone is a good defender, great scorer from 18 feet and inside, great passer and rebounder.
DRob is one of the best defenders at the C position ever, a great rebounder, scorer and passer.
Also, Magic, Drexler and Malone would form an awesome fast-preak trio.

Re: Better All-Star Team ?
In 1960, the USA population was 180 million.
In 1990, it was 250 million.
In 1962, the league was not fully integrated yet. In 1958 (I don't have this stat for 1962, but it can't be too far off from 1962), the league was not fully integrated yet and the league consisted of about 10% african americans.
In 1992, the league was fully integrated and consisted of 70 +% african americans.
In 1960, I don't know of many very international players.
By 1990, the game was international and there were a few good international players in the nba.
I'll take the 1992 all-star team without even looking at who was on the roster.

62 easily. 92's back court is getting DESTROYED by big o and jerry west. You are talking about two of the sickest scorers in history
