I was really pulling for the fellow tonight, which is unusual as I haven't been his biggest fan throughout his career. But yeesh, it was rough. Nice little move on Stauskas though - I enjoyed that. Otherwise, I struggle to believe he'll make it through the season. But he has to, right?

2004 FinalsBe. Back then at his prime with God like Shaq and bunch of good role players and Jackson he sabotaged entire series just because he wanted to be the man in LA over Shaq.

Of course, there are probably about a 1,000 of worse players who got signed by NBA teams at one point.

But obviously they were at the end of the bench, and so they weren't harming their team...unless they were creating locker room problems or something.

I love this version of Kobe.

Basically his deteriorating physical fitness has laid bare the very essence of this player.

HE NEVER QUITS.

Nothing can stop this man. You could literally take out his kneecaps, he'd still shoot 20 fga/game.

That's his indomitable will, the mind of a champion, fighting against all odds, never say die attitude, going down shooting etc.


It will be a very long time until we see anything like him again.
