If we get Camby. He's the rebounder and defender this team needs.

    They should definately chase Camby.

In limited time last season with Houston he got 22MPG while getting almost 9 rebounds and over a block per game. He'll probably get similar minutes with Miami and provides much needed rebounding with the team. Not to mention he is capable of knocking down open jumpers if need be. He's no more inept on offense than Anthony is, but is far an above a better rebounder.

It'll be Camby. And he's going to get destroyed by the media and Heat fans.

Why? Does he still do that sh1t where he lets people beat him off the dribble so he can go for the block?

Why the hell do championship teams always look to get older? The Heat should try and get Spencer Hawes. Legit 7 footer that can block shots, stretches the defense with his shooting, good passer for a big man and works well off the ball. Seems like a good fit.

I'd hate Camby if he went there. That dude will be rebounding double digits until he's 99 years old and still a beast shotblocker. exactly what miami needs

Hawes is going to be making much more than the vet minimum. No way can Miami afford him. Even Camby might be a stretch since he is worth more than minimum.

You guys forget. Some of these guys want a ring! Best ticket to get a ring, right now, is joining the Heat.

    That's a big incentive.

Work out a sign and trade then. Who's going to pay Hawes more than MLE money? And I don't see Camby taking a vet min either. Mini MLE is more probable but maybe there's a playoff team that will give him a good deal.
