He drew doubles in 2013?
Good for him - his jumper was actually semi-wet that particular year - so it wouldn't surprise me if he commanded some doubles to prevent a 3 or 4 jumpshot barrage/hot streak that boosts his team..
Again, good for him....
But what you guys miss is that it only takes a couple instances where a player chokes or decides not to take the big shot to be labeled a choker without killer instinct.... Similarly, it only takes a couple instances where a coach is successful playing Lebron straight-up for that strategy to be strong consideration for all opposing coaches going forward... Opponents are always like "should we not double lebron like SVG and Kerr succeeded doing??"...
So there's just more ways to beat Lebron and playing him straight-up (shutting down teammates) is one of those ways - a tried and true method.. Now if he was ultra-aggressive with a jumper that could get hot like Curry, MJ, or Kobe, then this wouldn't be an issue

Respond to this 3ball. Lebron has the most buzzer-beaters in NBA history and yet you have the guts to say hes not clutch??? 7 game winners.
4 more than MJ. Beta.

I never said he wasn't clutch - he's clutch, but he also has the choker label from various choking instances, and many instances of deferring to stiffs in the clutch
So he has both clutch and choker labels at this point in his career - history shows that he's capable of either...

Due to more games played - MJ's frequency of game-winners is higher, and he has numerous in the championship, while Lebron has none
Like, wouldn't it be nice to post a legendary game-winner by Lebron in the Finals to shut me the f uck up right now?
Wouldn't it be sick to post a gif of Lebron rising up on Curry for that Game 1 winner in 2018, to cap a 53-point goat performance, a case for greatest game ever played?
Alas.... ... Lebron just isn't on that goat level like MJ was.. only MJ has multiple moments like that in the championship
