WOJ: Cousins already injured...
Lakers center DeMarcus Cousins has suffered a possible knee injury and will undergo further testing today in Los Angeles, league sources tell ESPN. Cousins was working out in Las Vegas on Monday when he had to leave the court, sources said. He signed a one-year deal in July.
Feel bad for Lebron, injury prone team mates every single year. The heavy lifting he has to do must be tiresome.
Edit: Los Angeles Lakers center DeMarcus Cousins has suffered a torn ACL in his knee, league sources tell @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium.
Damn feels bad to be him, career might be over.

Re: WOJ: Cousins already injured...
Noone is surprised by Cousins being injury prone, that's why he couldn't get a better contract than 1-year at $3M.
In any case it's better for him to be injured early rather than late.

In his defense, he's actually the leanest he's ever been. Too bad. But like the poster said above, better now than later i guess.

Re: WOJ: Cousins already injured...
What do you even say to him at this point? He keeps getting injured...he keeps getting these small 1 year deals, Cousins for real might be done as a basketball player very soon.
How do you keep going on? The physical toll injuries have on a player is one thing, but this has got to be effecting him mentally. He just CANNOT stay healthy to save his fkcing life. What was he doing at practice to injure his knee??
I hope it's not serious, but he has got to be frustrated beyond belief.

Misleading thread title is misleading.

Is it, though? It's Demarcus Cousins we're talking about. If he scratched his knee, he'd probably need 6-8 weeks to recover.
Not to kick a man while he is down, but seriously.

2019 finals was probably his last shot at a championship

You say that as if he's been fighting for championships his entire career, lol.

I get what your saying but it's definitely misleading until I see someone confirm that it's something significant.

Re: WOJ: Cousins already injured...
ALTHOUGH....
Reports are really vague. This supposedly happened on Monday and it seems like the source is someone who saw Boogie walk off the court during a pick up game.
Woj is also a KNOWN Laker hater so we'll see...
Edit: Apparently he ‘bumped knees’ with another player in a scrimmage. So might not be all that bad

well at least his signing to GSW was a blatant ring chasing move.
worked for David West. too bad not for Boogie.
at least it happened before the season. he has several months to recover.
