The key phrase being "when Kobe went on tears". When Kobe was in the zone, he was unstoppable. Nobody else in the history of the NBA could do what Kobe did when he was feeling it. Man Prime Kobe was a beautiful thing. So much skill. A lot of people can't even notice how intricate his offensive moves are. The footwork, the pivots, cutting off defenders with angles. A lot of posters won't notice this because they have never played an ounce of a sport (i.e- dray, aj1987 and other varius ISH losers). You can tell who has played the game in a competitive way.

I've been saying that Kobe is the most skilled player ever when u combine scoring skillset, handles, passing, and defense as a package. So if we are just talking offense, he would still get the crown. He had more tools across the board to dominate a game than any other player. THAT doesn't mean he's the best offensive player ever. Just means his skillset is more varied than everybody else!
