Purely a marketing move to get more $$.

Not even remotely a basketball decision. Can't blame them.

I watch the Pelicans sometimes because of Gordon, and Rivers is not a quality player. He might not even be an upgrade over Farmar.

If there's one thing I HATE it's sons working under their dads in high places. Kid will act self-entitled as shit playing for his dad.

looooooooooooooool, Woj is talking to doc right now as we speak. Doc wants his son badly and is trying to lay the work by using Woj. Notice how Woj is talking about 'front office forcing doc' and 'doc needs to look beyond the last name' and how austin rivers would be a senior now.

woj doing doc a favor now and will be getting it back in the future.

Clips don't need "potential" (however little it may be), they need a player ready to contribute right now.

Especially considering the relationship, this makes no sense.

Little did he know that his father would be harsher on him than he would with the other players leading him to think whether he is cut out to be a NBA player. With a heavy heart he packs his bags to flys to China to join the Beijing Ducks leaving behind a notorious NBA career with the answers to many a trivia question.

Hopefully, somewhere that can land us a decent 3.

    Wil Chandler'd be nice.

Don't get Rivers, do Craw + Barnes + CDR for Chandler + Foye

Highly doubt Denver would consider that.

Is it me or does Doc like to hook up his friends and family? He has signed old players way past their prime that he coached before. Now he's trying to get his son. Looks like daddy's going to prolong Austin's dying NBA career.
He's worth a 2nd round pick at most. He's a downgrade from Farmar.
    Doc Rivers the GM.
