They did make the playoffs. And you're right, although if the Cavs win titles, people will say that Love is just in a supporting role to Lebron.

Both are overrated by their fans.. but to be fair in this comparison, this is 3rd year MJ vs 6th year Kevin Love. By MJ's 7th season he won it all and that was the start of the Bulls dynasty.

True, but nobody is going to argue that Love is better than MJ. The point is that if Jordan was in his third season today putting up those stats on a 40 win team that missed the playoffs, his detractors would be saying the same thing they say about Love.

The next best player on that team was a raw Charles Oakley in his second year.That team had next to no talent and they had to go against the likes of the Boston Celtics, Detroit Pistons and Milwaukee Bucks. Love had Kevin Martin and Pekovic. Granted, both are flawed players but if KG can bring a team with Szczerbiak as his #2 option into the playoffs, then Love should at least be able to do the same.
