Their first two goals shouldn't have happened by the rule book. They did, bad luck.
The 3rd goal was their only good goal. 4th goal, keeper had shocking positioning.

They didn't outplay Croatia in the second half either. They simply sat back, and countered because they afforded that right by having a lucky first half. Croatia forced the issue to break down the defence and couldn't.

France played like shit, shot the ball at goal and scored every time. Croatia played well and lost. Credit to France for being able to do that. It takes a great team to do it, and it is exactly what great teams do.
Bruh, like you just said, thats what great teams do. You don't know how many times I've seen Mexico take it to the big dogs, holding posession, creating chances and doing everything right and then a great play by a Brazilian, Argentine, German, Dutch etc kills us. Thats what seperates the real contenders from the rest of us.

Croatia had a great run, realistically very few thought they would take the cup, France was one of the heavy favorites from the get go. Croatians have a very talented team and should be rightfully proud of their team but if they play France 10 times, France wins at least 8 of those IMO. They are simply the better side.

talks about subasic bad positioning but no mention of lloris literally giving them a goal

that pen incident was a 50/50 which the ref shouldnt have given, given the circumstances.. the own goal was from a weak foul + dive.. sure, undeserved lead by france at the half but lets not act like it was the biggest disgrace in history.. just bad luck really.. they had great luck against denmark and russia.. cant have it always
they could have made things right in the 2nd half but no.. after that kante-nzonzi sub, they got bigdicked by a bigger, stronger, faster and better opponent.. 2nd place is a huge success for them

I'm not even sure what you guys are arguing.

I haven't once said that Croatia is a better side. They did play better in the final though, and lost. The penalty shouldn't have been given, but it was, and no point crying about it.

Anyway, is Jasi or anyone who watches Napoli or the Italian league kind enough to give a rundown of Sarri? I know it is very attacking and possession based football. Feel like a bit more of a squad overhaul will be needed to push that ideology onto this team given how long a strong defensive mindset has been present throughout Chelsea.

How can I expect players like Kante, Hazard, Morata and CB's to change in play style and workload under him?
