90's is absolute shit to you because you weren't alive for most of it and don't know what you're talking about.
Olajuwon's rookie year he had Ralph Sampson who was All-NBA that year, reigning rookie of the year and avg. 19-11 his 2nd season. Robert Reid and Lewis Lloyd we also very serviceable players on that team.

Yeah, and he made the Finals his 2nd season, beating the Showtime Lakers 4 - 1 with Ralph Sampson as his 2nd option and losing to a 67-win Celtics squad in 6 games.

But much like Kobe, he didn't have any great players around him during his absolute prime so he lost out on a lot of potential championships. Maybe if Sampson doesn't play on his injured knee and the two stayed together for a long time. Imagine if he played with a guy like Stockton or Zeke or Kevin Johnson ins his prime though.

Yeah of course no one else has done that, there is a reason why Hakeem is top 10 all time.

The year before is actually his best season. He was 2nd in MVP voting (more votes than Jordan) and won DPOY over Jordan. He won more in 1994 because the Sonics choked against the Nuggets (Rockets avoided them) and Barkley and the Suns got worse. Plus even if they had gotten past those two teams I don't think they would've beaten the Bulls. Everything worked out perfectly for him in 1994.

Sorry but MJ didn't make this exclusive GOAT club

    So Hakeem > Lebron?

Since on alot of AT lists Hakeem is considered #10, that would make Lebron #11.

Hakeem had a winning record against MJ and up to 93 was 11-4 against him

Rockets frontcourt always bullied the Bulls on the glass and MJ was far less efficient against them with Hakeems perimeter and paint coverage, from his scoring efficiency (53.8 TS) to turnovers (3 a game, 14.3 tov % for a guy who was single digit turnover rate for his career).

It was a bad matchup for them and well known at the time too. With MJs struggles against them they didnt have the offense around him and their frontcourt was food for Hakeem and even guys like Thorpe and Horry gave the Bulls issues

It would have been interesting to see what the Rockets would have done if that team didn

Imagine being so shook that you never saw GOAT MJ that you have to pretend a 6 time loser is on his level.

Most Skilled Center of All Time. Reached the finals in his 2nd year beating one of the GOAT teams (and lost against THE GOAT Team) and was the 2nd best player in the game overall from 85 to 95 (Barkley was the 2nd best from 89-93).

94/95 Hakeem's runs are probably as impressive as any players ever.
