Her band was assembled by Prince
she was also age 57 when she died...crazy

He was an infinitely better singer, song writer, and musician than Michael Jackson but he didn't have the management and industry backing him up like MJ did because he wasn't conformist Michael was.

He achieved more than everyone in this thread combined, except for me. Dying of aids is a tough way to go... kinda taints his legacy imo. Rip nonetheless. Sucks.

Just got word he died of a flu bug. Which makes sense if his immune system was compromised from aids
