There's still a level of irresponsibility to me even with protection. There are many preventative measures to be taken as already said in this thread that make it nearly impossible to get pregnant. Either you simply have half the sex drive as a normal dude or someone close to you got knocked up by a one night stand. Maybe you had a hard time getting girls at a younger age and you rationalized this concept in your brain. Who knows.
