This dude:
To hear Beaners (as in Kobe Bean Bryant fans, not the derogatory term for those of Mexican descent) tell it, that's the prototypical SG playing in today's NBA.

Kenny Smith said it best...
There's never been a player that's as quick, could jump as high, be as strong etc.etc.
Sure there's players that could jump higher (few), some that may be faster (all under 6'4 may I add) but NONE have the combination that MJ did.
As mentioned above, sure there's players that either match him or surpass him in certain aspects, but don't have the entire combination.

Re: Name the SG's today who has surpassed MJ in speed and athlethic
Derozan probably comes the closest in terms of speed, agility and hops; but I'm not sure if he surpasses MJ in any of those categories(maybe leaping ). But Derozan is too weak. Maybe a closer comparison would be a more athletic Iggy.

Re: Name the SG's today who has surpassed MJ in speed and athlethic
Wade is the closest with all the combined skills, nobody else comes close. Matter of fact, Wade has SO many highlights that look exactly like something Jordan did I dont see how anybody in this thread could bring up somebody else. Its Wade, by far, and nobody else is close.
