Think about this for a moment:
- Kobe wanted PRIME FRIKEN SHAQ ass to be shipped out of LA so he could prove he could win it all w/o him and get all the spotlight.
- Lebron backstabbed a city and the people who truly loved him to join forces with 2 other superstars in order to shortcut his way into a ring.
These are players who do not belong in the same sentence when we talk about competitive nature.

Re: Think about this for a moment:
Kobe wanted Shaq out because he had a large ego. LeBron left Cleveland on national because he has a large ego.
Also how did KOBE'S teams do with out an all star big man?

Lebron didn't leave because of his large ego, he left because he wanted a ring at any cost.

I fail to see anything bad.

its not bad or good per se, just an opinion on how the two players approach the game differently, and what do they value most

GIVEN NOT EARNED
Re: Think about this for a moment:
This is why Lebron's career will never match up with Kobe's.
Yeah, when shaq left, it didn't go so well. But Kobe toughed it out. Look at what happened a few years later.
Lebron? Still has yet to proved himself. He doesn't have the competitive nature of the champions who wanted to beat the best players available; instead he tries making a team with them.

You don't tell your team you are leaving until you are gone, instead you have a 1hr national tv special on ESPN, leaving the team that saw you grow up in rebuilding mode for the next decade.

Re: Think about this for a moment:
Kobe had Shaq and won 3 championships with him. Give Lebron a prime Shaq and lets see if he would have left Cleveland.
Kobe even wanted out of LA until the Gasol trade took place.

Re: Think about this for a moment:
One player landed in Orange County. The other player landed in Cleveland.
Kobrick would've demanded a trade from Cleveland after his rookie year. Like the little bitch that he is.

This. Especially that last sentence.
Also the Bulls wouldn't include Luol Deng in a trade for Kobe. Kobe is so great the Bulls wouldn't include an above average small forward in the trade.

When else would you tell them? When you havent gone?
he told them before the decision.
And wasnt the decision Jim grays idea, and raised millions for charity?
