Kirilenko lost his drive/passion a long time ago.

He hasn't had much luck lately and when he has played he's been awful. Supposedly he's signing with CSKA Moscow.

Maybe he can get recycled in the minor league. Look at Nando De Colo, he got thrown around like a rag doll in between the Spurs, D League and the Raptors and now the Euroleague 3rd leading scorer at top 16 averaging 15 ppg in 26 mpg shooting 55% at CSKA. Kirilenko is coming home nevertheless.

Anyways, Ive always liked AK47, but I don't see him being able to contribute to a playoff team on-court.

And i feel like he wants to play, not sit on the bench and be a mentor. That's why he will likely go PLAY over-seas
    Milos Teodosic/Aaron Jackson
    Vitaly Fridzon/Nando De Colo
    Sonny Weems/Dimitris Nichols/Manu Markoishvili
    Andrey Vorontsevich/Victor Khryapa
    Sasha Kaun/Kyle Hines

CSKA already has a very set 11 man lineup (you only get 12 places in Euroleague, unlike 13 in the NBA).

Khryapa has been injured and has missed the whole season so far, but now he's already practicing with the team again, and he's said to be coming back to play soon.

So there's not much playing time available for Kirilenko on THAT team. That team is deep as hell, with two small forwards that are both better than him these days, and two power forwards (assuming Khryapa comes back healthy) that are both better than him these days, and maybe even three that are better than him now. He would have had WAY more playing time available on the 76ers, and probably had just as much playing time available on the Nets.

So you really don't have a point.

Preeeetty sure De Colo, CSKA's best player, is not a backup.

They have no such thing as set starters and backups in Euroleague. Pretty sure that has been explained about 500 times already in this forum.

The MVP of the league is often a player that never once started a single game.

    STOP TROLLING IDIOT.

"Starters" is an NBA ONLY CONCEPT. It does not exist in Euroleague. Only the placement of the roles 1-10 or 1-11 in a rotation and set.

Also, De Colo is NOT CSKA's "best player" either clown. That is Teodosic.

Yo euroleague, how come "euroleague goat" vassilis spanoulis was leading the euroleague in scoring during the first 10 games(regular season), and now is the #26 scorer during the top 16 behind players like marshan brooks, nando de colo, jan vesely and jeremy pargo, all nba rejects? Interested in your opinion
