Re: 2/7 Hype Train
Leave 2-7 Kobe alone, guys. Sure he only won 2 Finals MVPs in 7 trips, but he was a killer. He really went for it! He did get 2 Finals MVPs so give him some slack here. Not fair to make fun of him now that he is (practically) out of the league.

Meh. Kobe was the MVP for 2 of his rings and the Co-MVP for 2 of his other rings. MVP of the Final series based on 4-7 games is irrelevant, especially considering that the West was vastly superior to the East back then and how Kobe was destroying the Spurs and the Kings, while Shaq, not to take anything away from him because he was incredible but he dominated against the East teams going head to head against a washed up 33 year old Rik Smits in his final year, 35 year old Dikembe Mutumbo and Todd Maucholuch. Even so, Kobe still had a good all-around series vs the Sixers, (especially in the games they won in a backdoor sweep after his shot was off in game 1) and an excellent series vs the Nets. Even in 2000 before he was truly elite, Kobe carried the Lakers in game 7 against the Blazers and took over in Game 4 of the Finals against the Pacers after Shaq fouled out, and he was a top 10 player and the best SG in 2000, the Lakers play-maker and defensive stopper so even though the gap between Shaq and Kobe was much bigger in 2000 than it was in 2001 and 2002, it's not like he was some dispensable role player.

LeGOAT? He's shooting like 30% in 4th and OT, not even on low volume like 2011 either. He's chucking away
