Well he's just going to have to get used to being "the scorer" for the Celts this season. Green should shoot and drive all he wants. There just ain't much else on the team as far a scorers.

I think he will be one of the top 10 ppg in the league this year. He is in a situation that other players can only dream about. Should jack at least as many shots as Kobe.

It's that Nik Batum syndrome, all the talent/ability but just naturally by nature they are passive (which is great for a good role player). He's probably not comfortable with the pressure of being "the man".

Probably the same reason Joe Johnson wasn't better.

JJ has basically lived up to his potential. He's made a few ASGs and will be a contender for the ASG this season. Maybe he could be better but if so not much. He's had 20+ ppg seasons. Jeff Green on the other hand is a guy that we see almost always having some kind of advantage over the guy checking him, be it size or quickness and agility, but most games just spotting up for a few jumpers and living off whatever Rondo sets him up for and not trying to be anything more than an average player.

He has all the tools to be a top small forward. Not LeBron/Durant/Carmelo good but on the next level.

Jeff Green would be a goood 3rd option on a contender team, but he is stuck on a shitty team.
