Really? Shooting is so scarce in the NBA that bums like Jason Kapono have jobs. It's difficult to do and very few players develop into good shooters. It's much more common to find someone who can't dribble developing a decent handle.

Bull sh!t. He is one of those guys who had pubes when he was 9 years old. no homo. He is 6'6. He could grow a full beard if he didn't shave. I know OJ Mayo could grow full facial hair when he was 14.

Verticle?
Re: Mitchell Wiggins' son 6'6" / 13 yrs old
The thing is though, he doesn't seem to have a body that looks like it will grow anymore. No high arching shoulders, not too skinny, etc. Let's hope he does. If he becomes 7 foot, and is able to take people off the drive like he did in the first part of the video, that would be amazing.
Second of all, I think it would be fun for the NBA to get rid of their 1 year in college rule. Hell, I just want to see if somebody can go even further, and join the NBA without even finishing high school.

Re: Mitchell Wiggins' son 6'6" / 13 yrs old
It's hard enough to project how college players will perform in the NBA, let alone high school kids....let ALONE a 13 year old kid.
Give it some time.
Remember, Bobby Knight said a 14 year old Damon Baily was "better today" than any current IU guard (in 1986).
Bailey had an extremely modest NBA career.

Re: Mitchell Wiggins' son 6'6" / 13 yrs old
Who knows how tall he'll be, Shaq was 6"5 @ 13, so this kid at the very least could end up 6"8-6"10.

Cause the best shooters are unathletic white guys that couldn't make it into the NBA.

This.
Dudes on this site never played organized basketball in their lives, if you're 6'9 and are a great rebounder you can spend all of your days & nights working on your range but come game time you better not attempt one and play in the post all game.
Not everyone wants to be a good shooter, some guys like attacking the basket rather than shooting because they are better at it.
Hes 6'6 now, depending on the program he goes to will determine what position they put him at.

On the subject of Ben Wallace not being able to shoot can someone explain this for me?
When at the free throw line he never bends his knee but has pretty good form? So why doesnt he just bend those goddamn knees its not rocket science ..
