Default Can Chris Bosh Have An MVP Seaon?

    Before people laugh it off....

Seriously. Do you think Bosh can have an MVP season this season? I do. He will have a bigger role, and I honestly think he will be in the running.

I'm not saying he WILL win the MVP. I'm just saying, it's entirely possible he has a breakout year and is one of the top 3 or 4 guys in the league.

This. Bosh has gotten to used to relying on Lebron, hell he even risked losing a max contract to keep playing with him! I see Bosh getting off to a horrible start this year.

If he finishes the season averaging 23/10 or something like that, with the Heat having a Top 2-3 seed, then yes.

Definitely possible. Miami's still EC contenders.

He's not winning MVP, but he can be in the conversation. If Joakim Noah finished 4th on the MVP ladder at the end of the season..I see no reason why Bosh can't be in the top 10.

He's still in his prime, the dude is fully capable of putting up 20/10 as the first option. It's all up to how aggressive he is, and which version of Wade, Deng, and Granger show up in Miami. They have the talent to be a 48-52+ win team, we just have to wait and see.

No, it's not. I like you man, but Lebron leaving your team has clearly cost you some of your sanity. Even if Bosh does have a great statistical season, which I doubt, it won't lead to the Heat winning games. After all, his Raptors missed the playoffs during his best statistical year. That's not a coincidence.

LaMarcus Aldridge averaged 23/11 last year, while leading his team to 54 wins. That's the absolute best case scenario for Bosh, and Aldridge finished 10th in MVP voting ...

No, but I think he'll have his first legit all-star deserving season since joining the Heat. Something like 21/10, co-leading his team to about 48 or so wins.

Portland fell off hard the 2nd part of the season. Weren't they on top of the West for half the season and then ended up finishing 5th? His stock fell hard by the end of the season.

They were 31 - 9 at one point, ended up losing 19 of their last 42 games.

I think its more likely you squeeze 1 more Top 5 season out of Wade than Bosh having one.

So you've been a "Cav fan" this whole time?

There's examples on both sides, players who did great things and didn't get as much recognition as they warranted like Aldridge, as well as players who were playing great but were a bit overrated..Noah finished 4th in the MVP race, despite his stats being nowhere near MVP-caliber at 13/11/5/2/1, and the Bulls only winning 48 games. Bosh could definitely be a top 7-10 MVP candidate if he plays at the level of Toronto Bosh and Miami wins 50 games.

If he lets Silver squirt his semen onto his face then he's an MVP lock.
