wasn't letting Stiemsa walk a money thing? I'm sure a Boston fan could fill in the timeline, but they were working the Courtney Lee deal around the time he signed in Minnesota right?

you can't just sign whomever you want in the NBA, there's something of a salary cap.

Stiemsma's good, but he's not worth $3 million a year. I'd have loved to see him in Boston, but not at that price.

Boston built a team that was intentionally big on 2s and 3s. I'm more than happy with a healthy Wilcox filling the gaps.

Boston couldn't re-sign him for CBA reasons (a major flaw in the CBA, by the way, as we had Bird rights). Don't know if Ainge was that fussed anyway...

What are your thought's on Ryan Hollins, I recall his shot blocking was excellent, I really like him and KG on the floor at the same time.

Why didn't they resign?
