Re: howard ready to sign w lakers
Did anyone doubt that he'd end up in LA after all the dust settled? Luckiest franchise in league history by far.

Luckiest? Please... luck is a lame ass excuse. Reputations are earned and once you've got a reputable one, players will flock to play.

Re: howard ready to sign w lakers
just saw this on rotoworld:
David Lee, the agent for Lakers center Andrew Bynum, said he hasn't heard from the Cavaliers regarding the rumored three-team trade involving Dwight Howard, the Cavs and Lakers.
He went on to say that he was "baffled" by the reports of the possible trade, suggesting that nothing is happening if Bynum's not involved in the discussions. Chris Broussard and Ric Bucher are both reporting that a Dwight-to-Lakers, Bynum-to-Cavs deal is a distinct possibility, but this is also an indication that talks are probably still in their infancy. And on a final note, reporter Jason Lloyd says he got the impression from talking to Lee that Bynum was not interested in signing with Cleveland long term, if a deal were to go down.

How is having the smarts to draft Bynum and watch him become the second best center in the league only to trade him for the best center in the league luck?
