Brandon Jennings is the better prospect of the 2. Brandon is a freak athlete, and is playing pro ball now. His time in Europe under a more rigid system than he would have played under at Arizona will do wonders for his game. Brandon will develop better habits because he won't be able to "out-athlete" players in FIBA ball. The FIBA style rewards better decision making, and minimizes the advantage that other worldy athleticism would give a player in North American ball. Jennings time in Europe in theory will make him a player that gives an NBA franchise the best of both worlds, the freakish athleticism and penetrating ability of a playground bred baller, and the cerebral understanding of ball that playing the team oriented packed in Euro-style of the game can provide. Brandon will be great at running the Pick and Roll as a rookie, and with time should be able lead a team effectively.

Jennings Best Case: A New Prototype Most Likely Case: Kenny Anderson
    Worst Case:
    Keyon Dooling

Stephen may be slotted at the point intially, but his mediocre handles and passing ability will do him in. Stephen has a habit of not putting enough zip on his passes, and those weak passes will be eaten up on the NBA level. After he flops at the point some coach will rescue his career by moving him off of the ball. He will then flourish as a Ben Gordon/Eddie House/Steve Kerr type.

Stephen: Best Case:Ben Gordon Most Likely Case:Eddie House
    Worst Case: JJ Redick

Brandon Jennings, he's already playing professional basketball. I know that Europe is not as good as the NBA but it is deffinitly better than the NCAA and the majority of the competition that Curry faces on a week to week basis with Davidson.

BJennings dropped 55 as a rook. He's way better than Steph could ever dream to be.

So OP didn't over estimate his best forecast.
    while under-estimated his weaker forecast.

He's risk-averse in making his picks and doesn't expect players to have late growth spurts

How can a worse case be JJ Reddick, and likely case Eddie House, when JJ Reddick was much more diverse in his offensive skill-set than Eddie House ever was

Well, to be fair, pre-2009, JJ Redick was pretty much an afterthought like Jimmer is now. Ironically, he didn't really blossom until Steph's rookie year.

House was a good roleplayer on a championship team the previous year.
