I think they'll win this series but if they don't win, fair or not, this will go down as an ultimate lesson to teams in the future: regular season records really don't mean much at all without a chip accompanying it. Whether or not going for the record wore this team down/added pressure which somehow had a trickle-down impact on why this team is in a rough spot right now it's hard to say, but there's no doubt that will be part of the legacy.

And they get another 50/50 ball/offensive board as we speak.
