Devin would probably get too distracted with the Laker girls

He's better than the PGs we do have, so I'm all for this trade. As long as Harris has his mind right and stays healthy, the Lakers might be able to compete against the best teams in the league again.

What's up w this dude? Have injuries taken away his athleticism or just motivation?
If it's just motivation could be huge move...

For some strange reason Lakers coaches have an undying loyalty to Derek Fisher.
Not just Lakers coaches. Sloan absolutely loved the guy. So much he started him at the 2!
I feel Harris can revive his career in LA.
Agreed. Let's get it done O'Conner and Kupchak!

Don't think it's either. He still gets to hole if he wants. He fit good in Dallas as a role player. He had a career year in NJ where everything went right. I think he could help the Jazz if they brought him off the bench playing off the ball. Corbin did finally play him with Watson at the end of the last game. He's just not the floor general that the Jazz need to run their offense.

Re: Lakers out to get Devin Harris
This is why I laugh at all the Laker trade threads. Utah wants to dump this guy and LA still has no way of getting him. NO ONE is going to take Artest or Walton. NO ONE. And there is no cap room anywhere. LAL can't make any moves, even when its for a guy the other team is trying desperately to dump.

As we've seen time and time again. Everyone is tradable. I wouldn't touch Artest but I'd take Walton over Devin. Their contracts don't match though. Got to throw in more to make it work i.e. youngsters and/or Blake.

Sure they can and they will. They have the trade exemption. I'm sure they are waiting on the right move(s) than just settling for any move to make their impatient fans happy. Devin Harris isn't the move IMO but I'm all for it if they think he is. I'd go after Arenas/AI before Devin myself if I was them.

Re: Lakers out to get Devin Harris
He's really not even better then Fisher. If Fisher is the worst PG in the league, Harris is the second or third. He's lost a lot of his athleticism, and that's the only reason he was good in the first place.
