regarding the main argument, we can't confirm how high Jordan got like we can for Lebron by using cutting-edge camera angles... unfortunately, those camera angles were not available in Jordan's day.. nonetheless, well-respected posters with superior knowledge concur that the one pic we do have of Jordan looks legit.

But i've shown you another way to measure it - Jordan could take off from FURTHER off one leg - you have the video proof of Jordan taking off a foot further than Lebron ever has - so you can't ignore that Jordan could take off further off one leg, just like you can't deny that he is the better leaper off two feet.

2) Jordan cocks his FT line dunks back, making them more impressive (along with the further distance)

Here are 3 in-game dunks that are from FT line distance or further (the last one is further) - keep in mind for all three, he is dunking diagonally, so if you took geometry you should know that diagonally is longer than straight-on, so these dunks are as far or further than Lebron's dunk (where Lebron's entire foot was inside the line).











In the last one, Jordan takes off from FURTHER than the FT line and dunks THROUGH Bill Laimbeer.
