Garnett wasn't even talking about basketball anymore. Good for him, the tactic worked. People have been saying in this thread it's "trash talk", but I've been saying it's not and that's it's dumb. I never said anything about how Garnett should be battered or should go to death for it.

Whatever he implied to someone personal, should be considered reviewable to the NBA as well. Other sports have done this like hockey (look up the Sean Avery/Dion Phaneuf incident a few years back), cricket, etc.. I doubt it will happen, but you never know.

This is one of the funniest things I've heard about it quite sometime. I was wondering what got Melo so hot and bothered. KG is ruthless with the trash talk. He definitely crosses a line, what with the "happy mother's day", "cancer patient", and now "your wife takes like honey nut cheerios" bit ... but hey, only Anthony Peeler has made him physically pay for these comments. Well, Peeler and LeBron. I remember KG trying to get in Bron's head last year and he wasn't having it, then he had that game 6 eruption on Boston.
