I guess its Kobe's fault..and I expected this. His scoring outburst was going to end and his detractors will be waiting..I guess this is it. Carry on Pleeze. preach the truth

It was an obvious let down game, they thought they would role over the Griz. I keep thinking about the game the 72 win Bulls team lost to the 21 win Raptors, although Jordan had a good game.

Plus it's the law of percentages, Kobe was bound to even out with his career shooting numbers.

I do agree that it's becoming a trend that people are putting up career numbers on Kobe.

I had a point to make Mod

about a topic we discussed all week

and now you merge it with a PB effort

well done

your Kobe groopieness is exposed and we all see it

how about a little balance here

we can have ten threads of the Jemele variety

but only one

when he loses to the worst team in the league

at home

down the stretch

with playoff seeding on the line

after a week of people like yourself slurping his nuts

this is too much

you should be ashamed

Let me break it down for you.
Kobe's scoring outburst came against MEMPHIS, GS, and NOK, 3 teams who are not even currently in the playoffs, have a combined record of 80-132, are 2 of the 3 bottom teams in opponents ppg, and have no defensive concepts. And even with his scoring outburst, the lakers only won those games with by an average of 4 points. In addition, the best player in the nba has lead his team to a 6th place record, hardly anything to be impressed about. I think we're exaggerating here when you say it's the greatest thing anyone has ever done. I'm willing to bet that if the lakers current position holds, they won't even get a SNIFF of the second round of the playoffs.

Conveniently you left out the part where the Lakers have had 3 of their starters out for significant amounts of time, as well as 3 of their backup starters also out for significant periods of time. Lakers were clicking on all cylinders before these injuries and have since lost any chemistry they had at the start. Kobe held them above water and at this point is the only reason were even in the playoffs to begin with.

Every team has had significant injuries to their starters. Stop racking up the excuses.
