Steal one in San Antonio and you're sitting pretty.
If San Antonio steals one in OKC, they are sitting even more pretty.

And then OKC will steal one right back.
This conversation is kinda pointless because the Spurs will be upset by the Clippers in the Western Semi's.

First off, OKC isn't purposely avoiding the 1-seed. Or at least I hope that's not how the layers and coaches are thinking, and I'm pretty sure they aren't. However, from a fan's perspective, I can see the argument for wanting the 2-seed. OKC gets a team they match-up better with in the first round in Houston, and potentially a banged-up Nuggets team in the second round. Then, who knows, maybe the Spurs don't get fully healthy and the Grizzlies or Clippers take them out in the second round, and OKC still gets HCA in the WCF.

OKC knows what they're doing.
They don't need home court to beat the Spurs. (who will probably be upset in the second round anyways)
OKC looking to get another easy trip to the finals. Back to back Western Conference champs.
How is being an OKC fan working out for you?
