Lebron might be the only guy to average 7 rpg and 7 apg for a CAREER

That's more impressive to me than his career totals

Bird average 10 rpg and 6.5 apg, so I think he's closest

But mj's formula proved to be the most winning and successful method - the only guy with 30/5/5 career averages..

And btw, I think lebron's time of possession somewhat nullifies his stats and puts a limit on his teams, but the mainstream doesn't know about that stuff, so his 7 and 7 will mean something

the funny thing is lebrons agenda to collect both points and assists actually ended up being his downfall ...had he focussed on one or the other his teammates/coaches would have benefited more from his style because then there wouldn't be any stagnating/ball watching/confusion and total chaos when lebron goes out of the game or doesn't play. the total reliant nature of his offensive systems on a ball dominant stat padder was a detriment to every team he played for and its more than likely the reason he has such a failed career minus bail out shots

Magic's assists were worth more because they didn't reduce teammates' assists or the team's - the Lakers were #1 in assists every year

But lebron's assists come at the expense of teammate and team assists - teammates see their assists decline alongside lebron, so the team has low assist rankings and a brand of ball that can't compete well on the championship level

That's why you have to look at everything - stats and winning
