This year the West will be between the Spurs and Lakers.

I can't even imagine how pissed Thunder fans are going to be if they don't make the finals. I wouldn't even question them making it if they still had Harden. Now? I've seen them exposed a few times, and the Heat flat-out owns them.

They will win the west. Im not buying the Spurs and the Grizzlies don't have a dynamic perimeter player at all.

I've completely lost confidence in this team. Our bench depth has been exposed numerous times this season. Martin and Ibaka fail to consistently be a reliable 3rd option, lack of bench scoring, poor coaching, lack of big men. Oh and we have Kendrick Perkins.

Why would we be pissed if we didn't make the Finals? It's not like it's the East where there's one elite team, maybe one or two other good teams, and a bunch of pretty "meh" teams. I think it'd be a bit entitled and unrealistic to just start expecting Finals appearances every year after getting there one time. I still don't think it'd be a guarantee even if we still had Harden. I mean last year a lot of things went right and we got to the Finals a year or two ahead of schedule in my opinion. Who knows how that first round series against the Mavs goes if Durant doesn't get that lucky bounce on his game winner in game one. And the Lakers choked away a few games down the stretch in the second round. Don't get me wrong, OKC was better than Dallas and LA, but they didn't exactly cruise to the Finals last year despite sweeping the first round and winning the second round in five games.

And this year, I and a lot of other Thunder fans are starting to come to the realization we're probably a second round exit team. It is what it is. I still don't necessarily have a problem with the Harden trade, but if Presti doesn't do something to fix our awful bench and shitty frontcourt, I'm going to start losing patience and getting upset.
