This is honestly a rookie thread, started by a blind little cut bitch who realizes Lakers are a lottery team for at least 5 more years.

    Cheers

the spurs won a title in 2014 because they paid manu/duncan/mills/kawhi/green all combined what theyre now paying aldridge alone

the spurs won due to depth/pay cuts

now that theyre throwing max dollars around to multiple guys itel be allot tougher to win

dumbest thread of the summer... you can almost taste the envy and bitterness in this guys language...

you really think during the four years LA is in san antonio they arent going to constantly doing what they do best... planning for the future, adjusting roster, players, talent, etc... have you been living under your mothers mumu the last 10 years? Nobody does it better than the Spurs...they are always evolving faster than everyone else and 2 steps ahead.

warriors will still have a shot at the title... spurs arent a shoe in but the warriors have no answer for the new twin towers

The reputation of the Spurs organization is finally paying off. David West gave up a lot of money just to experience playing for a quality organization, winning games and consistently competing for a championship. Current players are leaving money on the table to continue playing for them (Green and Duncan). Scrubs who have been through the Spurs system are getting paid.

    Joseph - $30mill/4 yrs
    Baynes - $19.5mill/3 yrs
    Bellinelli - $19mill/3 yrs

Their assistant coaches and former players/employees are getting hired as head coaches and GMs. They are the model franchise that teams are copying and now even the style of play (ball/player movement) is being imitated (Warriors).

Sounds like sour grapes to me.

Leonard is better than anyone on that Lakers roster. Aldridge will be fine.

"His" lineup? You act like Aldridge is a #1 option or something.

He's a less skilled Pau Gasol that doesn't play defense or rebound. Pau went 0-12 in the playoffs in a weaker West as a #1 option.

Once Timmy + Pop and the rest go, the Spurs are going to quickly fade into oblivious. lol @ thinking a 32-33 LAMARCUS ALDRIDGE is the future for the Spurs. What an insult to Kawhi.

Nick Young has a career average of 12.3 points per game. That lineup is hot garbage. D'Angelo Russell might turn out to be a good player but the rest of those players are bums.

I love how Laker Stans are touting Julius Randle as some great up and coming player... Seriously the dude looks like he might be even worse than Anthony Bennett.

Kawhi is better than anyone on that Lakers team lol. By a lot.

Kawhi + Aldridge + Green + Mills + free agent to fill the void left by Duncan and Manu that the Spurs will clearly sign + one or two draft picks that turn into borderline all-stars, which will also clearly happen + the best organization in sports = a pretty awesome proposition.

Also, why ignore next year? Why throw it out the window? Clearly next year the Spurs are one of the top 3-4 favourites to win it all. Can't ask for much more than that.

Obviously, Kawhi is the future of the Spurs. But LMA is a 23+/10+ guy the last 2 years - that's not a bad option to have - regardless of what option it is. And LMA just turned 30 a couple of weeks ago.

i dont understand kenneth' logic. even if the laker prospects are going to develop into to great players....that process will last at least 2 years. 2 years where LMA is in his prime and can directly compete with a stacked and well balanced SA team.....

    logic where kenneth?

I thought the same thing. not in complete rebuild mode but definitely set back when gino and duncan go down. Parker should come off the bench already

    Seriously

I don't know if I'm just missing something but that lineup would strike fear in no one..

As for the OP...interesting that the Spurs will roll out with no center or coach. We'll see if it pays off for them down the road.
