    Default NBA MVP betting odds

It seems somewhat likely that the MVP race is going to come down to Curry, Durant, Harden, Lebron and CP3 based on records + stats

The most likely outcome for records will be (though 3 through 5 could change pretty easily).

    1. Dubs
    2. Thunder
    3. Cavs
    4. Rockets
    5. Clippers

    The odds are (in order)
If you bet $1 dollar you get back:
    1. Bron 5/2 = $3.50 ($2.50 + $1)
    2. A. Davis 7/2 = $4.50 ($3.50 + $1)
    3. Curry 5/1 = $6 ($5 + 1)
    4. Durant 13/2 = $7.50 ($6.50 + $1)
    5. Harden 7/1 = $8 ($7 + 1)
    6. Westbrook 11/1 = $12 ($11 + $1)
    7. Griffin 16/1 = $17 ($16 + $1)
    8. CP3 20/1 = $21 ($20 + $1)

Seems like $50 on Curry, $50 on Bron and $50 on KD would be an excellent betting option.

Bron wins you get $175 and you spent $150
Curry wins you get $300 and you spent $150
Durant wins and you get $375 and you spent $150

And I very happily enjoyed I thought Bron would get it most likely due to the media loving his comeback story, the Decision part II, aka the Revision. Luckily, the Dubs managed to get way more wins.

Media doesn't care, if they truly cared, Bron would have been the MVP, since he was by far the best.

I'm thinking a better bang for your buck is Smush Parker making an unexpected return and winning MVP. That must be $1M for every dollar spent.

    mvps dont take sabbaticals.

when we needed him he was there, but he coasted a ton last year. curry deserved MVP.

Durant is the best value, imo, and ought to be the favorite. hes got an edge this year.

I like Curry Harden and Westbrook off that list. I'm afraid Bron is too far into the maintenance section of his career. He'll miss too much time to keep things rolling for the postseason.

Anthony Davis I just worry his team won't be good enough. The Pellies are a fringe playoff team at best, and that's a tough spot to win from even if he's great.

Harden and Curry should both get the heavy shots needed on teams that will be chasing home court in the west. Those are both good places to start. And Westbrook is getting a better number than Durant, who I'm still afraid will require to miss time to maintain that foot. But the Thunder could be back in that home court discussion.
