players used to get career highs on pau all the time.
i think the change in gasol is due to the league being smaller
hes basically like yao mings size out there now due to teams going small

7'2 13 RPG per game Andrew Bynum and all time great defensive shooting guard Kobe Bryant lead that team defensively. Pau was just along for the ride.

Pau Gasol has become a regular season/international play warrior.
Hasn't done sh*t when it matters (playoffs) since like 2010.

Pau has a better defensive rating and higher defensive win shares than Kobe.
So Pau was the leader on defense and bailed Kobe out on offense. The real FMVP
