Does Lebron really deserve the MVP this year?

I don't know if this thread has been done already but sorry if it has. I'm taking anything away from Lebron cause the guy has really been balling this season. The thing is that his team is so much better than all the other teams. The Heat are really stacked. If you take Lebron off of the Heat they will still win the East. I just feel like the MVP should be given to a person on a winning team that if you take them off that team they wouldn't have a winning record and wouldn't make the playoffs imo. I feel like Lebron isn't that important to the Heat. Again I'm not trying to take anything away from Lebron. This is all my opinion and how I view the MVP award.

He's not just the best player on the best team. He's the best player on the best team leading them in damn near every catagory. It's not good to me, but that's why he's the clear cut MVP to me.

Well he's only the best player on a 65 win team, and with insane stats.

- 27 game win streak (with couple of game winners by LeBron)
- Swept the Thunder, Spurs & Nuggets (& Lakers).
- Averaged 6 consecutive games of 30 pts 60% fg
- He controls the flow of games like no one else, except maybe Chris Paul.
- The most versatile (maybe not best) defender.
- His assists totals not-withstanding, his passing skills are insane.

LeBron James is just on a completely different level from everyone else. Yes, he deserves it. If you think he doesn't, then I don't know how you can make a case for anyone else.
