Default Switch 96-99 Karl Malone and 11-14 Bran

    Who wins more titles?

Bran on the Jazz in 96, 97, 98, and 99. Bran wins zero titles.

    Malone on the Heat in 11, 12, 13, and 14. Malone wins in 11, 12, and 13.

    Discuss.

If Mr. James thought he was shaking his head when Kawhi Leonard was checking in, he'd probably hurl when Rodman would check back in.

It's kind of unfair switching anyone with Malone those years tbh. Any player in the consensus top 12 or so would not beat Jordan's Bulls during those years if put in Malone's place imo. The lockout year is a different story. But I do agree with the point that Karl would win at least 2/4 with Bosh & Wade.

What the hell is Malone gonna against the Pacers in 12 when Bosh goes down for the series and Wade is playing on one knee?
Is Malone gonna put up 40/18/9 in game 4? Is he gonna have duplicate Lebron's game 6 in Boston? The answer is NO!
Malone was a regular season Warrior with ZERO signature playoff games. His career is pretty pathetic when you really think about it.

Malone was a joke in both of those Finals!
If he makes those free throws in game 1 of the 97 Finals, and doesn't allow Jordan to strip him in game 6, the Jazz would have been the back to back Champions. Let's stop acting as if Malone was some dominant force in those Finals who was let down by his teammates. Malone is THE reason Utah didn't win those Finals series, period.

2012 vs Pacers? The same series where Wade averaged 26/6/4 including a 30/9/6 game 22 point 2nd half that same game Lebron put up 40/18/9? A 28 point game in a blowout game 5? And CRAZY closing game 6 where Wade had 41/10/4? Wade wasnt on one knee yet in 2012 Dont rewrite history. Boston series is a different topic though Malone would have no chance.

That's the difference between you & I. You see Malone as the reason the Jazz lost, I see Jordan as the reason the Bulls won. Those Bulls teams were as close to unbeatable as you get since the Russell Celtics imo.

Wade came on late in that Indiana series, but was god awful for the first 3.5 games. Have you forgotten about his 5 point game 3 performance?
Despite Wade's incredible game 4 second half, the Heat still wouldn't have come close to winning that game without Bron's 40/18/9. The fact remains that Malone doesn't have a single signature playoff performance, so I have no reason to believe he would replicate Lebron's success.

Those 97 and 98 teams weren't even close to being unbeatable. That's that Jordan mythology coming into play. In the 97 Finals game 2 was the ONLY game that the Bulls won comfortably. Every other game came down to a few plays, and could have EASILY gone either way. In 98 the Jazz could have pushed the Bulls to a 7th game if Malone could have just held onto the ball, but I guess that is asking too much of a supposed all time great? I seriously doubt the Bulls win a game 7 in Utah, seeing as road teams almost never win game 7's in the Finals.
Malone performed well below his season averages in both years, so I don't know how you can absolve him of blame.
