Asik would give the Heat something they havn't had in years. A defensive 7 footer that can dominate the boards and protect the rim. Capable of playing big minutes. With this the Heat would be amazing

CP3 to LA didn't happen because it would be unfair. LA still would have lost in the first round if they had CP3 instead of Howard.

It's because the league owned the Hornets at the time and what they were getting in return was retarded so they shut it down. They ended up getting Eric Gordon who had nice value at the time.
