He can no longer be called a frustrating player. He is what he is. At one point in his career, it was possible that Josh Smith could have been better with shot selection and better work ethic. At this point, he is the same player as he's always been. An inefficient PF in a SF body.
No one can change Josh Smith anymore, because he doesn't want to change. He's been paid, and it's not hurting him in anyway regardless of the way he plays. He plays for himself, and is one of the most selfish players in the league. Sometimes a player can be told something a thousand times but it will not affect him; it's in one ear and out the other.
The miraculous thing from this whole ordeal is that the Pistons somehow signed both Brandon Jennings and Josh Smith in the same offseason; how did Dumars sell that one to the owners? I literally starting team being successful if they had both Josh Smith and Jennings in that lineup. Any combination? Howard, Duncan and Harden? Bosh, Lebron & Wade? No lineup with those two on the same team together.

I just don't get why there is so many players that on a regular basis always attempt things they have never been capable or good at doing. It's just a sign of a really dumb person who has sadly been blessed with amazing gifts which went to waste.
