Dude Wade played 50 games that season while recovering from a shoulder injury playing on no knees. He had to take the rest of the year off because he couldn't play anymore.

His starters were Chris Quinn, Mark Blount, Udonis Haslem, and Dorell Wright. That team started off the season something like 0-12 without him and finished losing almost the last 20 straight games without him.

They were bringing up D-Leaguers left and right hoping they can make impact. That Heat team aside from Wade has an argument for the WOAT team. No player is carrying that team to 35 wins, never mind playoffs.

and what about Wade's healthy seasons as the star? he's a great player, he just needs a second body to help get past the 1st round...and nothing is wrong with that. many greats needed that too, MJ wasn't a "winner" until Pippen came along

other players have done good things with scrub teammates though...it's not a knock on Wade tho, he's just not on that level compared to those who have been able to (literally) carry the team. Lebron and AI come to mind

Only dropping to 47% without two all time greats? That's actually pretty good considering most of those games were played in his formative years (when most guys don't have much effect on winning games) or when his first champ team was completely dismantled and he was battling injuries. At the end of the day he's been the best or 2nd best player on 3 championship teams and 1 runner-up.

Please explain to me what I didn't understand correctly. You stated that Wade isn't on the level of players who could carry their teams. Then proceeded to mention Lebron and AI as players who could carry their teams.

Unless of course, you were grouping Wade WITH Lebron and AI as players who couldn't carry their teammates. Which is just as ludicrous.
