I haven't been a Madden fan since. . .well. . .2K5 came out but then again I'm not a humongous NFL guy so it's not a necessity that I have a football game in my hands each season. After rolling with 2K's version of NFL football, it's always been real tough to reestablish a solid feel for Madden. I try the demo each season and the game does indeed seem as if it's a good game, but I personally just haven't been feeling it.

I'll say this though, I saw that video of the Lions winning the Super Bowl. Pretty fresh. I'll give Madden a shot again this year but it'd take an awful lot to get me to put that money down. I am not rich.

Just bought a hard drive for my xbox, so finally have enough memory to download some demos. Currently downloading Madden 11 demo as I type this.

Us Euros won't get the game until August 13th.

Though I'll base my decision on whether to get it or not on the demo. It will be the first NFL game I'll have played since NFL Blitz which I had for Gameboy Color.

Just had a go on the demo, love the game! Just ordered it now, and I'll hopefully get it on release date! 13th here.

it's here, going to pick it up at lunch... work til 5 PM, then gym from 6-8 PM, i'll be on and playing from like 830 PM to midnight.... probably going to run franchise with the 49ers or Lions for a few days before i go online maybe this weekend.
