25/13/8/1/1 on 59% TS.. playoff debut ... what did Embiid do? 20/10/3 on 56% TS in his 2nd playoffs.
Yikes.
Jokic went against soft centers that are EASILY abused.. Even had the stars align with the Blazers best player having the worst game of his playoff career and Jokic/Murray still failed to get it done.
Embiid went against MEN like Marc Gasol and Jarret Allen...

I mean the Spurs were a better team than the Nets were. Raptors were better than the Blazers. It isn't just the individual defender, they schemed to stop Jokic as he's the only current All-Star caliber player on the team. Murray shows flashes but still too young. Look at all the extra help Embiid had. Guy had Jimmy Butler, Tobias Harris, Ben Simmons etc.
I think either could be argued as the better player, but it's not arguable that Jokic was better in the playoffs. That's an open and shut case. Jokic didn't "fail" it was his first playoff app ever and was 1 game away from the WCF without another superstar like 90% of the players nowadays have.
Jokic game 7 2nd round - 29/13/2 with 4 blocks 2 turnovers 11-26
Embiid game 7 2nd round - 21/11/4 with 3 blocks 4 turnovers
Jokic absolutely destroyed the playoffs. He had a 43/12/9 game. Almost averaged a triple double in the first round. Averaged 27/14/8 in the second round. Embiid averaged 18/9/3 in the second round ... say that again .. 18/9/3 in the second round
27/14/8 on 53% vs 18/9/3 on 36% .. but yeah Jokic is the "choker" .. Jokic's first playoffs ever, Embiid's second as well.
