Tyreke doing some nice work during the month of January, guy might be one of the most underrated man to man defenders in the L.

Great to see him doing this again! I was wondering what happened. He was one of the few rookies to ever hit the 20/5/5 mark.

Tbh he has been dribbling a lot less since Isaiah Thomas came, he tends to handle the ball a lot more and Reke is forced to play off ball more often, which I don't agree with but.....

Yeap your dead on the money, hes got career highs in FG% and his defense has been top notch, he doesn't get the mins he should get nor the amount of touches and he doesn't have shooters around him like he did in his rookie year.

Yeap your dead on the money, hes got career highs in FG% and his defense has been top notch, he doesn't get the mins he should get nor the amount of touches and he doesn't have shooters around him like he did in his rookie year.

His playmaking ability and j are limited so running
Him at the pg really isn't effective

The reason his
Number went down is because people play off
Him and have a good scouting report now

He needs to devolop more

Hes a better playmaking PG than anyone we have ever had since he came not named Beno Udrih. Thomas is a a ineffective PG other than scoring, Ferdette can't dribble with pressure and Brooks is the same as Thomas. On top of that every year hes had less and less shooters around him who spread the floor . He already is a slasher/defensive specialist again the Kings refuse to put players around him or Cousins who can actually help them out or that are quality all-round players.

If you look during his first year he had as the main guys

Beno Udrih:a proper playmaker who could play off the ball as well as spread the floor
JT: same as now does a bit of everything
Omari Cassp: floor spreader
Spencer Hawes: floor spreader/good passer
Donta Green: floor spacer
Nocioni: good passer/floor spacer

(also had 20-30 games each from Kevin Martin/Carl Landry/Garcia)

While that team on pure talent is not much, its a much better built team for Tyreke (even for Cousins) than the one we have now, you got floor spacers and good passers which is the type of enviroment Evans needs to thrive in. Since that season we have had less and less quality shooters and even less talented players coming in due to poor drafting and poor trades. The only reason this team is more "talented" is cause we drafted DMC other than him the talent level of the current team is lower than in Reke's rookie season.
