And they replace Frye with a better, younger version in Ilyasova. And they get a buttload of cap space.

I'm down for this. Frye is the perfect third big, and though his contract is meager, the rising cap makes it fine. Plus, it saves the full MLE this summer.

I think it has more to do with his cost-controlled contract for '17-'18 honestly. Reserves likely will be mad overpaid this summer.
