Why does it seem like so many NBA players are afraid to fight Shaq?

Shaq would have snapped Sampson in half. Sampson was a little taller but likely weighed 100 pounds less.

Barkley did fight shaq, in 1997. He throw the ball at his head and then slammed shaq to the ground. You don't remember that?

I mean why are so many intimidated? last week Tracy gets pushed to the ground by Shaq and no one goes after him including Tracy. Then Stuckey gets fouled and no other piston got in shaq's face after that. Why is everyone acting like they are afraid to fight him? I bet you these players would have step to shaq in a second but they are no longer in the NBA

I highly doubt Sampson would stand up to Shaq. There's a difference between fighting Shaq and fighting Jerry Sichting, like he did.
Maurice Lucas would have a good case, though. He did take on Darryl Dawkins in '77 without the slightest fear. Not saying that he'd beat Shaq obviously, but he wouldn't back down.

Look VCM...It was like a 10 Minute Clip of the Figth that Was Shown before on a Real angle = Filmed from "Behined". Charles picked up Shaq in 0.5 Seconds and Shaq could not move Barkley at all (Barkley has the Strongest Lower Torso and Center Gravity Ever in the NBA) and Yes Barkley got a bruise because he dodged Shaq`s punch whom skimmed his face and that is why he had a little cutt which happens to anyone who has ever been in a fight . Barkley picked Shaq Up and onto the ground instantly while everone then then got a hold of Barkley to take him off Shaq when he was on top ready to punch. After the camaera showed Shaq`s face was a fraid like a puss*****y cat (go watch the clip urself and you will see it) because he did not realize who tha fu**** he was messing with. Charles is a tender guy, warm hearted, funny etc but if you piss him off he doesn`t give a **** about anything: The NBA, if you are 2 Ft Tall, If you are 8 Ft Tall etc..Too bad youtube eleminated the complete fight and filmed from behined

he didn't "flip" shaq. he went for his legs, took him down and waitied for teammates and refs to seperate them. He even admitted it on Inside the NBA. He said something like "I knew I wouldnt win in a fight so my best bet was to tackle him to the ground and by the time we got there, I knew the refs and my teammates would step in. I wouldn't mess with Shaq in a dark alley."
