Narcos on Netflix....any good?

I'm sure there's been a thread on this, but I'm curious to know if I should watch this. I just got done binge watching The Wire and frankly, I'm all drugged out. That culture, that way of life has seriously bored the shit out of me. Now I know why the real Baltimore is in shambles.

So is Narcos like The Wire in terms of drugs here, drugs there, drugs everywhere?

Didn't much like the narration....felt like they were going for a True Detective feeling but it came across as either tryhard or dumb
