Baby sharks are pretty independent creatures and get their own food. They will most likely survive.

Ppl that kno sharks say that baby sharks are fully independent upon birth; they are born with their predator teeth immediately & don't need their mother as it is likely she will eat them anyways.
They have more than a fighting chance.
