The irony of 2015-2016
Is that the Warriors were a young and upcoming team. They were a 4-6 seed type. Then all of a sudden they win the Finals. And Lebron got credit for losing in 6 games, many by double digits, and he shot 39 percent in a somewhat non competitive series that didn’t even go 7 games. That’s not me twisting facts. Like, what I just said was a fact.
Now he didn’t have Love and he didn’t have Kyrie, although Kyrie list in game 1 anyway.. But that’s not the point. The irony is that the Warriors were supposed to just be a 4-6 seed that year anyways. And because they blossomed fast, people felt sorry for Lebron and gave him credit just for trying.
People will say that he had Dellevedova.. yea he but they lost in 6 games. What’s the point? He didn’t even make it to 7.
And then the following year he had his full squad and barely won in game 7. Everyone knows with all things equal, Warriors were still better.
It has to eat him and fans up. He never lived up to what all his stabs said he was.

Re: The irony of 2015-2016
a lot of people point to curry and he did make a big jump but they really blossomed because they replaced david lee with draymond. He doesnt get treated that way at all but he was an all-nba type player in 15 and top 10 in 16 who deserved conversation for top 5. Any analysis beyond a box score saw him that way.
Kind of the best example of how sometimes scoring numbers dont matter as the warriors seemed like they were losing lee's 18/9 benching him

Re: The irony of 2015-2016
Iggy/Draymond/Bogut changed the 2015 team along with Kerr giving Curry more free reign on offense...Warriors had the number 1 defense in the league in 2015...don't forget that.
