he flopped 3 times against the celtics last week.

In general... Griffin is flopping way less lately. CP3, Evans and Mo are still flopping decent amount though.

I hate players who flop, so in a sense I'm dissapointed with Blake, but I can see why he does it. He gets hacked pretty often without any call so he decided to kinda force the refs to call something.

Btw my favorite flop by him is when humphries blocked his dunk and he tried to flop, acting like he got hit.

It looked like a counter-action in this particular incident. Maxiell was trying to pull off the ol' force-out routine. Often, I find a lot of supposed flopping to be merely a retaliation against an initial infraction. Well, maybe not a retaliation. But it's a situation where a player feels they're being fouled and they're worried it won't be correctly called. As such, instead of countering contact with equal force, they merely allow their body to be moved. Griffin flailed a little extra, but the idea here was just to ensure that Jason Maxiell did not gain an unfair advantage.

100 percent spot on. He's being a bit*h when he does it no doubt... but it IS indeed because he gets hacked without calls. He didn't flop nearly this much last year... I think coaches+CP3 may be encouraging him to sell fouls. Little did we know he would be such a good and entertaining actor. BTW do you have the video for the flop you're talking about? I missed half of that Nets game, including flop.

Don't see why that's surprising. Who would watch the Clippers last year?
maybe not in this thread. but every time his flopping/attitude gets discussed they say it began this season.

Wow, Blake Griffin now takes the crown as the most arrogant flop artist in NBA history.

one 250 lb guy running after a ball bumps into another 250 lb guy running for the ball off-balanced. it may not look like much but his momentum is carrying him out of bounds. happens all the time when someone is going to the rim and gets bumped and ends up flying

though it wasnt a hard foul, i dont see how thats a flop

Definitely a flop, but Blake probably apologized to that mother and her daughter afterwards. Forcefully.

    At the same time.

    In a bedroom.

    With his schlong.
