Chamberlain had four, but was clearly robbed in '62 and '64.
Also, if KAJ could win an MVP in '76 with a losing team, and with far less dominance, let's give Chamberlain an MVP in '63, as well.

Wilt won a runaway MVP in his rookie season, with a 38-27 .461 season, while runner-up Russell averaged 18-24 .467 that same season. Oh, and Wilt's Warriors went 49-26 to Russell's Celtics at 59-16.
In his '61-62 season, Chamberlain averaged 50-26 and on a .506 FG%, while Russell was at 19-24 .457. Wilt's Warriors went 49-31, while Russell's Celtics went 60-20. And yet, Russell won the MVP.
